James Otter CV

James has a wide range of commercial experience.  He has worked in a range of senior international management positions with Zeneca Agrochemicals (now Syngenta) and Spectris.   He has led a range of small technology companies, largely in bioscience, either as CEO or as interim turnaround manager.

In addition he was served on a range of Venture Capital Trust (VCT) boards as both Chair and non-executive Director (NED).

Until recently he was a Royal Society Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at the University of Southampton and is currently Chair of Renovos, a spin-out developing a novel product in orthopaedic regenerative medicine. 

James has a Natural Science degree from Cambridge University and an MBA from INSEAD, France.
