How it works
CommLIT material is grouped into Courses around a common theme.
These include Core Business Skills, Deep Dive into IP, Starting a Business etc.
Each Course includes a range of Topics, made up of 2- 4 Lessons.
Each Lesson typically takes between 15 – 25 minutes to complete.
The Lessons are presentations with voiceovers, which are complemented by links to relevant Mini-Cases and additional material.
At the end of the Lesson, there is a Quiz to test your knowledge.
Courses, Topics, Lessons, Quizzes and Mini-Cases can be accessed in your own time and in any order.
Material however is not downloadable.
Time limited licenses are available per Course, just follow the Getting Started button.
Material can be accessed as and when you choose through most personal devices with an internet connection.
Simply log back onto CommLIT.online site using your password and then click the My Account / Continue learning button.
Each user will automatically have a personal learning log, which tracks their progress through the material

The Core Business Knowledge Course is the best place for debutants to start, as it covers a wide range of topics.

Correctly managing Intellectual Property is often key to the success of technical businesses.
IP Deep Dive Course sets out the core issues of IP. Its key message is that IP is made up of much more than patents, but needs to include know-how, trade secrets, copyrights and trademarks.
Lessons will include :
- IP licensing
- Technology transfer and IP
- Contracts negotiations and IP
- Finer points of IP management and strategy
The IP Deep Dive Course is complemented by a range of Mini-Cases that give real examples of how the correct management of IP enabled certain businesses to thrive, often in areas that were not initially considered by the founders
