CommLIT.online is an online resource for improving commercial literacy.
Commercial literacy is all about having a basic understanding on what makes up a successful business and building the confidence and language to engage with business people and specialists.
CommLIT.online is set up to provide practical information from experienced professionals through short Lessons of video presentations with voiceovers, that typically last 15 – 25 minutes. These are complemented by Mini-Cases, which are practical examples from the real world of business, usually explained by presenters who were actually there at the time.
Almost all of the Lessons will have a Quiz at the end, which will feed into your Personal Learning Log.
Each Lesson can be viewed on most standard devices and the Lessons do not have to be viewed in any particular order.
Lessons are grouped into Topics and Topics are grouped to make up a Course around a common theme.
The Core Business Knowledge Course provides an introduction to the main areas of business and is the best entry point for debutants . If you find an area where you want to go deeper, don’t worry, that will be signposted within the Course.
